Not All Breathwork Looks the Same
After my recent breathwork session in Swansea, I was reminded how many people are hesitant to try breathwork because of the way it's often portrayed — a room full of adults crying and releasing deep emotion.
For some, that’s exactly what they’re seeking. But for others, it's confronting or even overwhelming.
Several participants have shared that either they or their friends were put off attending a session for fear they’d lose control emotionally in front of strangers.
Breathwork That Meets You Where You Are
So let me be clear: not all breathwork sessions end in big emotional releases.
The sessions I offer are tailored to the people in front of me. Many attendees are first-timers — already nervous, unsure what to expect. And I get it.
A Softer Way In
I’ve explored different breathwork modalities because I, too, have found loud, emotional group sessions unsettling. That led me to study approaches like The Language of Breath, which offers a gentler, more accessible way in.
I’ve also taken a deep dive into Polyvagal Theory, helping me understand how our nervous system and sense of inner safety shape the breathwork experience.

Continued Education
Because I’m science-driven, I’m currently deepening my knowledge through a Breath Science Certification.
My Goal
My goal is that everyone who attends my sessions feels:
Safe
Seen
Heard
Understood
Informed with up-to-date, science-backed breathwork guidance
Heal & Grow
We can only heal and grow when we feel safe enough to take the right risks. Breathwork, done in a supportive environment, helps us expand our capacity to handle life’s stressors with more ease. This is why choosing breathwork that meets you where you are is so important.
So, if you’ve been curious about breathwork but put off by heavy, emotional sessions, please know: you are in charge. You decide how deep you go. You can take your healing at your own pace — always.
